12 Sep Registering an Overseas Entity
The Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement Act) 2022 came into force in August. All Overseas Entities that own a property in the UK need to register the details of the registrable beneficial owners. As a regulated body, we are authorised to provide this service. Registration had to be done by 31 January 2023 to avoid penalties and even imprisonment. You cannot sell your property until you have an Overseas ID number.
